Grimmjow Jaegerjaques/Kurosaki Ichigo

I gotta admit, it's the absolutely batshit off the wall feral energy of these two combined which really gets me. The contrasting colour palettes! Sharp teeth, brutal violence and the pure adrenaline of a well matched fight. Body horror! Love body horror from inhuman/non-human character!!! Feral hollow bullshit! Cultural differences!! Enemies to lovers! Enemies to enemies who fuck sometimes don't make it a thing, it's definitely 100% casual!

Hirako Shinji/Kurosaki Ichigo

I've loved their interactions from the very first time Shinji sauntered on screen. I love the instant distrust on Ichigo's part, the slowly growing trust, the teasing, the way it slowly unravels that the entire world + situation is even more fucked than Ichigo thought it was. Also, Shinji is terrifying and I think Ichigo should be much more into that.

Ichimaru Gin/Kurosaki Ichigo

Look, I gotta be honest: 0 thoughts, head empty, I just love them. I think they could be really good together!! That loyalty???? Like?? Sure Gin did a lot of fucked up stuff but who he is as a person is someone Ichigo would really vibe with!!

Kuchiki Byakuya/Kurosaki Ichigo

Look, this really just comes down to: Byakuya is hot as hell and even hotter when his hair is down. I love this up tight fuck and Ichigo could one hundred percent bring the man down to his level (in whatever way you take that aha). I could definitely see a friend with benefits relationship spiralling waaaay the hell out of control. Also: sometimes you fuck your best friend's older brother! Being queer really is just Like That sometimes!!!

Sado "Chad" Yasutora/Kurosaki Ichigo

THE O.G!! This was my very first Bleach ship and I still love them so much. Ride or die friendships are absolutely ruinous to me. I love thinking about how their relationship could evolve/change as they grow, as they fight battle after battle after war together. Battle partners even before Ichigo got powered up, knowing each other so well, so intimately.

Haruno Sakura/Hoshigaki Kisame

I've read some really good fics for this ship but I always want more!! Sakura being an absolute beast; she punches Kisame in the face and the man comes back up with heart eyes.

Hatake Kakashi/Uchiha Itachi

I really, really, really think they could make each other worse. Like, psychologically. Maybe Kakashi gets roped into Itachi's plans; maybe they end up missing nin individually and things spiral from there; no massacre au where they're both in ANBU for years as it grinds them down to nothing and all they have left is the blood buried under each others nails.
 

Hoshigaki Kisame/Uchiha Itachi

He's a shark man! Non-human quirks, anatomy, world views; sharp teeth and shark dicks! Are they travelling between missions? Having some down time? Fighting together, training together? How does their friendship and relationship play out, with Itachi being so deeply unstable and also a spy? Does Kisame figure out there's something off with Itachi? Does he think it's just that the Uchiha so clearly needs therapy or does he suspect there's something? Does he decide to keep Itachi close by any means necessary in order to make sure he stays loyal to Kisame, if not the wider organisation.

They were partners for so many years!! They clearly cared about each other!!! Leaf vs Mist ideas about team mates and loyalty and relationships. What does it mean to trust your back to a missing nin when you know you're a spy? How do you spend so many years living and working with someone while knowing you're betraying them and the organisation they believe in - all for the village which forced you to slaughter your clan??
 

Sai/Uzumaki Naruto

Sai deserves 100% good things. (So does Naruto!!!) I love Sai doing his best to learn how people work and, in turn, learning how his emotions work. Mission fic, tutoring, anything where they have to spend a long time together! Team trust building exercises! The 'heart grows 3 sizes' moment for Sai when he realises he is safe and wanted with team 7.

Senju Tobirama/Uchiha Madara

The angst possibility for this is amazing. Even discounting Izuna and whether he lives or dies, I do love the idea of Tobirama labouring under the (mistaken) opinion that Madara's in love with Hashirama and is settling for the brother who's available. Secret relationship that they both know has an expiration date; having to reluctantly team up on a mission and realising that they don't actually hate each other; sex pollen bullshit and all the fallout of that comes from it.

Your honour I love them!!!!! The story is so good but it would be better if they were a triad! Rinko figuring out that Sunakawa is in love with Takeo and seeing the 'this is my bf, and this is his bf' meme as an aspirational image; making sure they go on plenty of 'group hang outs'. She's determined that they should all be happy! And they will be!!

Oh from the first moment these two came even remotely into each other's lives, I was like *slams ship button*. And then! Well!! What the actual fuck Kenjaku, am i right?? Regardless, I still ship them and I really, really love the idea of extremely dedicated, protective Chousou and Yuuji who's just there like 'oh he's so hot. oh he's SO hot' and having to come to terms with wanting to get dicked down by a man who seriously and whole heartedly calls him brother. I love complex relationships and this, oh this is one hell of a mess.

Itadori Yuuji/Okkotsu Yuuta

Oh man!! No thoughts head empty but i think they would be so good together!! I also think that, if given the chance, Yuuji would make friends with Rika! He's such a sunshine boy, i believe he could do it. I just think Yuuji/Yuuta dates would be cute as hell.

Sang-hwa/Seok-woo/Seong-kyeong

CHARACTER GROWTH. Trust building. Almost found family trope, if everyone had lived long enough. All three are great characters with great arcs, I just want them all to survive!! Let them live!! Seong-kyeong deserves two doting partners (though they would dote in very different manners). Give Seok-woo a second chance to be a husband now that he’s done some growth. Sang-hwa is my absolute fave and I insist he get everything he could possibly want, including this asshole he just did a speed run of dislike to ride or die with.

The chemistry for all three people is amazing. I would just really, really like a happy ending for them please! Fuck, shove them in a soulmate au where Sang-Hwa cannot believe that his second soulmate is this asshole, but at least his kid’s cute?

Achilles/Patroclus/Zagreus

Let Zag be the tiny god filling in a Myrmidon sandwich! I like the complexity, especially in canon where Achilles has already rejected Zagreus. I also like thinking about what could happen if Achilles did accept Zag before his reunion with Pat, or if Pat and Zag had started up their own relationship before Patrochilles sorted everything out, and how this could play out with their relationship dynamic. Three different relationships trying to figure out how to merge into one, confident and unsure by turns, the quiet pleasure and excitement as everything starts to come together.

I also like Zag being unsure of his place in their relationship - unsure if he's actually in the relationship, or if he's just a friend they hang out with and sometimes fuck (this can also go hand in hand with Achilles already having rejected Zag's romantic affection before.) Insecurity in any of the three, really. Effective and sincere communication is the lifeblood of poly relationships and I can really see that being an area where the three of them would struggle.

Patroclus/Zagreus

I have many feelings about this pairing but I think it can be succinctly summarised with: Would you worship a god, if he worshipped you in return?

Because you know Zagreus would get on his knees for Patroclus whole heartedly, without hesitation, and not only is that what Pat deserves, I really think that such a thing would evoke so many emotions within his heart - not all of them good, especially when in comparison to Achilles who also loved with all he had, and still left. And Zagreus, who is trying to leave, even as he slowly wins Pat's heart. Very messy!

Hermes/Zagreus

Hermes turned up and I went 'i want that twink obliterated.' I really like his interactions with Zagreus and I think they would get along really well, If they were able to have two sided conversations. Also, they both have a lot of energy and I believe firmly that they would vibe.
