Can do all 3, just dante and vergil or dante and dreamrunners
Dreamrunners are one of my favourite enemies in DmC! It took me ages to adjust to them and therefore i watched Dante get wrecked by them frequently! I would like him to get even more wrecked! Terribly so! Fuck him up! Let him get impaled by the swords and then, heh, impaled by a sword ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) or maybe Dante and Vergil are teaming up, or Vergil's taunting Dante about how he can't even manage such a simple enemy, for shame.
Now, re: just Dante and Vergil - Dante's amnesia in this leaves so much room for manipulation. What would've happened if Vergil found him earlier? Would Vergil have revealed their relationship or would he have tried to worm his way closer first? I think they were so close to sticking by each others side in this game! It could've happened! Dante was so lonely, so desperate for companionship, to be seen and heard and loved, something more than the shallow connections he'd clearly been making! If Vergil had shifted gears he really could've hooked Dante for good! Vergil was playing the long game with Mundus when he should've been trying to play it with Dante.
Also!! What does Vergil think, about Dante coming back into his life? Did he think about Dante often? Did he think Dante was searching for him, too? And i love the whole 'Nephilim' thing, i think some funky as fuck worldbuilding could come out of that. cause there might be more half demons but half demon/nephilim has gotta be a rare combo. I'm fine for any interpretation of Dante and Vergil's relationship, be it platonic or romantic or sexual.

Wei Yanzi's 'wow I can pretend my cp is real! company mandated fake quasi-relationship!' versus Gu Yiliang's 'I will be Wei Yanzi's sugar daddy' really is a spectacle, huh. What absolute dumb fucks. Incomprehensible. Truly delightful. The shenanigans they get up to are great and I love their chaotic but kind energy. They really do just care about each other so much! Whenever I try to think of something coherent to say about why I like them all I can think about is Gu Yiliang chain smoking for the length of 3 cigarettes before he decides he can be a man's sugar daddy - that is not a long time!
I really like the evolution of their relationship, and the increasing shenanigans they get up to. Love the sweetness, the care shown, the humour, the way they both grow to care for each other so quickly - the way that Gu Yiliang secretly cared all along??? We never mention the 'take care of yourself' cat video again???? I feel that it is very important!! How many other ridiculous things has this man done? What are his earlier diary entries like??
Things I would like to see - more tropes? Different tropes? Even more weird fake dating shenanigans? God, imagine if this ridiculous pair had to go undercover for any reason.

I love the tone and vibe of canon but i'm more than happy to receive something radically different! I'd love to see more of the growing relationship between Kanako and Sakurai; perhaps he learns how to express himself through more than the phrase 'I'll kill you'? Maybe he actually fake dates her to get the cop off her back? Kanako needs seduction training? Sakurai and Hosomi have history? they have to begrudgingly complete a task together for plot/Kanako related reasons?
I also love the absolutly speed run Kanako and Hosomi did of a relationship. I think it'd be really interesting if Hosomi was willing to be a bit more flexible. Like, why couldn't he have been a house husband? He could've done all the domestic shit he wanted and Kanako could've kept up the assassinations! Meet in the middle! Compromise! And then you can throw Sakurai into the mix who, of course, can't simply let Kanako spend time around her new ex-assassin bf. all three of them get tricked into a messy triad.

Speaking to me about these two is guaranteed to have me foaming at the fucking mouth. I will never get over the end of the series. I will never get over Leon searching for D for fucking years. He left his entire life behind to chase D!! And, as far as we know, never sees him again????? Fuck off!!! also, feel free to go full horror! For a 'horror manga' PSoH really is light on it most of the time.
I love the little family they built, with themselves and Chris. I love their banter, the way their relationship grows. The found family of it all!! The way Leon's unable to give up on the guise of suspicion until it's too late, despite the way he's so ride or die for D. What would have happened if he'd trusted D more? If he'd let himself hear the animals? Would it have changed anything? AU where Leon's a pastry chef instead of a cop. Something supernatural happens and Leon's turned into an animal - AU where Leon just is a supernatural creature. maybe he doesn't know he is, maybe he just thinks if he keeps it reeeeeeeeeeally on the DL no one with ever notice. Maybe he's hidden so well that it does take D a hot second to figure it out?

This series is so fucked up and I love every twisted moment of it. God, the Agriche's are SO fucked and Roxanna leans into it without hesitation. She's as delightfully twisted as the rest of her family and does not seem to care. I love her. Girlboss, gaslight, etc. And the way Roxanna has her father's trust? How much he likes her, how much he sees himself in her? God she's SO GOOD at the game. I love her. And her 2 brothers and Cassis are so ready to fight tooth and nail to be Roxana’s #1 fan. To be useful to her - necessary to her! I'm fine with any combination of platonic or romantic or sexual relationships. Again I say, get nasty!
Dion's so obsessed by her and twisted with it - and she's equally impacted, though she'd like not to be. They could and do make each other worse. The fine balancing act of maintaining power in their house, of keeping some sort of leash on Dion. I want them to ruin each other. I want Roxanna to ruin him, to be torn between hatred and pity and the horrific, detestable realisation that mixed into all that she... appreciates him, sometimes. Would miss him if she ever managed to kill him. Wants to bind him so tightly to her side that he can never betray her, never leave her.
I really, really, really want Cassis to be so incredibly fucked up from his time in captivity and the (dubious) kindness shown to him by Roxana. Anything about Cassis's time in the Agriche estate. Extended captivity? Roxana needing to prove her claim over him more than a couple hickeys? How much time did he spend thinking about her over the years, obsessing over what happened. How distorted is his view of her? Is he disappointed by the reality of her cruelty, by how well she fits in with Agriche, or does it make him feel... special, almost, that he's one of the few people she's ‘kind’ to. Does he feel treasured?
And last, Jeremy: what a little freak. He's such a siscon. He would hump her leg if given the chance. He's her feral little pet but unlike Dion, she doesn't need such a cruel, firm hand to guide him. He's jumping before she's even said how high and we love to see it. I have less to say about Jeremy but that's just because he's cast in the shadow of two even more wretched men, but that doesn't mean I love him any less! He, of all of the, spends the most time with Roxana! He mightn't know the depths of her the same way the others do, but he knows her more fully imo! He gets a more well rounded picture, favoured as he is.

Your honour I love them. Sanji is so soft in OPLA! He's so clearly and near instantly smitten with Luffy! I just want them to interact more! Slice of life, adventure, manga arcs, absolute shenanigans, more soft moments between them, anything! Sanji cooking for Luffy, or just listening to him talk with that smile on his face. I know you know the one. UGH my heart can't take it!! Also unlike animanga Sanji in this same time period, OPLA Sanji is actually charismatic! Not as suave as he probably thinks he is but he's certainly got something!
Buggy/Chew
